Soy wax candles with evocative clean scents - for the greener, healthy home

Following on from the previous blog which started to give details about the development and creation of soy candles by Sentelle.

For the soy pillars;

I make sure the fragrance oils and essential oils are delivered to candle manufacturers who use 100% soy wax , the soy pillars are then made in my chosen colours and fragrance oils and in the case of the aromatherapy soy pillars they are made colourless with essential oils.

For the soy jars;

I  make sure the jars, fragrance oils and essential oils are delivered to candle manufacturers who use 100% soy wax the soy candles are then made in my chosen colours and fragrance oils and in the case of the aromatherapy soy candles they are made colourless with the essential oils.

Unfortunately a soy candle with as little as 40% soy wax mixed with for example paraffin wax can still be called a soy candle.

Alot of candle makers take this option as pure soy wax is very soft and a quick shortcut to make the candles harder is to add for example parrafin wax also blends are cheaper to make.

Here at Sentelle we believe this kind of defeats the point .

Soy candles by Sentelle only use 100% soy wax because we believe if you have made the switch to soy candles because of its benefits then you want soy candles made with 100% soy wax to ensure you have all the benefits.

I am often asked if I make my soy candles and I often see the face of the person who asked drop when I say no, but even though I do not  make the soy candles . I am involved in the development and creation of soy candles by Sentelle.

For the soy pillars;

I choose the size of the pillars I want .

I choose  the fragrances and essential oils from manufacturers of pure fragrances oils and unadulterated essential oils .

I choose the colour of the pillar for example the Lemongrass and Sage fragrance is a  yellow -green colour.

The pillars are sold without outer packaging in order for sentelle to stay true to the eco-friendly credentials of its soy candles.

 I design the little label that gives customers information on how to get the best from burning the pillar and also the fragrance or essential oil name.

For the soy jars ;

I choose the glass jars from manufacturers of stylish glass jars. Sentelle is a trendy, stylish brand and a plain cup would not sit well with the brand.

Also because Sentelle has to be true to the eco-friendly credentials of its soy candles the jars have to be beautiful and stylish in order to stand alone without any outer packaging.

The exclusive etched design on the sentelle jars makes the jars even more stylish.

I choose the fragrances and essential oils from manufacturers of pure fragrance oils and unadulterated essential oils, and I finalise my choices after asking customers what fragrances and essential oils they like.

I choose the colour of the candle to match the fragrance for example the freesia fragrance is a pale lilac colour.

I design the swing tags that gives customers information about the benefits of soy candles and also the fragrance or essential oil name.
